Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

Here you'll find lots of information about booking, availability, arrival, and other campsite details. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us by email. info@camping-alpenblick.ch

  • Why can I no longer book the respective category online?

As soon as a category is no longer bookable, it is fully booked/no longer available. If you do not fulfil the minimum stay requirements in your enquiry, the system will tell you that a higher number of nights is required for a booking.

  • Do you still have pitches available?

As long as there are still pitches available on our homepage, we still have vacancies. Please note that reservations for the current day are no longer possible. In this case, you are considered a spontaneous traveller without a reservation and no guarantee of a pitch.

  • I would like to reserve a pitch with a view of the lake, is that possible?

Unfortunately, we are not directly on the lake and therefore the lake view is not possible. However, we are only about 100 metres from the lake and the pitches have beautiful views of the mountains.

  • I can't make a reservation because the booking system shows a minimum stay?

During the high season and at weekends there are minimum stays. Spontaneous travellers with a camper/tent/caravan are also welcome without a reservation for fewer days than the specified minimum stay. Please note that in this case there is no guarantee of a pitch.

  • How do I enter additional information (e.g. if I am travelling with friends and would like to stand next to them) in the booking?

It is possible to write a message during the booking process. We receive these directly and take note of them. We will do our best to fulfil your wishes.

  • What is the difference between Basic, Classic, Comfort and Prestige?

Our Basic pitches are for tents with a maximum size of 9m2 and for a maximum of 2 people. The Basic pitches are only suitable for tents, not for roof tents with a vehicle.

The Classic pitches are suitable for motorhomes and caravans up to a maximum vehicle length of 6m and for tents with a maximum size of 24m2. Do you have a vehicle with a roof tent? Then the Classic pitch is ideal.

The Comfort pitches are suitable for motorhomes and caravans up to a maximum vehicle length of 8 metres.

The Prestige pitches are suitable for motorhomes and caravans up to a maximum vehicle length of 10 metres.

  • Do you accept groups?

Yes, we accept groups of 10 people or more under certain conditions. We invite you to contact us directly by e-mail at info@camping-alpenblick.ch. This way we can see together what we can offer you.

  • Can I book a specific pitch?

During the booking process, you may indicate a pitch preference in the comments. We will always do our best to fulfil this request, but we can never guarantee 100% availability due to occupancy, previous bookings, extensions, unforeseen natural events, etc.

  • Is it possible to park the car next to the tent?

It is not possible to park directly next to the Basic pitch. However, we offer 1 free parking space per reservation. If you would like to leave your car at the tent, it is possible to reserve a Classic pitch.

  • What are your tariffs?

You can call up the tariffs directly online on our website, where you can also make a reservation.

  • We had to pay the deposit to make the booking. When and how do I pay the balance? What means of payment are accepted?

Your credit card will automatically be charged 25% of the total amount at the time of booking. Please pay the remaining amount on site at check-in by credit card or in cash. We do not accept American Express, Reka Card and TWINT.
